Fluffy!

New yarn! Fluffy pink yarn!

I have 7 gorgeous untouched fluffy pink balls of Rowan Kid Soft! I got this yarn because a nice lady called Julie wanted to get rid of it and thought I might like it. I DO like it! It was very very kind, and thank you lots Julie.
This yarn was discontinued bloody ages ago, and I was always sorry I didn't get to use it, and now I have some. The obvious choice for this yarn is the fluffy sweater from vintage knits, but although I like that sweater I'm not MAD about it. I'll have a think, I might just make something up! I've got a while to plan, because it's just starting to get warm here and is not the weather for fluffy jumpers at all!
The yarn looks more like this colour actually (nearly forgot I have one more picture):

I'll be back after the weekend, probably without a finished Elspeth, because I've not done any more on her (too busy) - hope everyone has a nice bank holiday (or regular or whatever) weekend!

I made a scarf out of kid soft...the resulting fabric was lovely but don't try anything too complicated as the fibres sort of stick together making it impossible to rip out if you make a mistake (ie it was a very bad choice for my first lace project!!!).

Ooh! Very PRETTY!!! What a Fabulous find for you! Sit with it for awhile, it will let you know what it wants to be when it "grows" up!
Fun, Fun, Fun!

On ebay you might find the Rowan patterns books for the kid soft. These patterns are much nicer than the one in the vintage knits book.
greetings, Ankie
