Slowly but surely....
December 12, 2005
Getting along with my Dad's Christmas jumper! Well, it probably looks like a leap along since last time I posted about it, as I've finished a sleeve and the front since then! I've been in college for the last 2 weeks, on a revision course for the exams I have today (!) and tomorrow, but every lunch time I would knit for an hour as my brain needed a break and there was nothing else to do. Here it is so far:

I've held it up over various bemused males and it seems to be a good size, as far as I can tell!!
You can't tell from that photo (I'm having difficulty photographing this dark brown yarn with any detail showing) but it has a textured st on the body pieces and plain st st sleeves. I'm pretty sure I can get the final sleeve done and it all sewn up before Christmas - although less than 2 weeks to go - how did that happen?!

You'll be a speed knitter, and get it done on time. No worries. It's a gorgeous color, and I'm much relieved to hear that it is not all moss stitch!
Good luck on the exams!

Hiya, just catching up on my reading. I love your new hairdo, it looks so glossy. Hope your exams have been okay these past few days.
