Big Long Fluffy Scarf. And fudge.

February 26, 2006

I've finally got round to getting photos of my new scarf - Adam very kindly took them. I asked him what he thought my scarf should be called, and he let his imagination run riot and came up with Big Long Fluffy Scarf.

Edited to add: this scarf is my own "pattern"! I know there's only so much creating you can do with a scarf, but this one is all mine :)

I'm pretty much in love with my new scarf, which is good as it's been totally arctic here lately. It's a very comforting scarf. Anyway, click on the little photo to see more - I'm wearing my new favourite T-shirt in the photos, Adam got it for me for Valentines day and I really love the stripes!

This saturday myself and Adam went to Moreton in Marsh in the Cotswolds to see my parents, who were staying there this weekend. It's a very pretty area but the best thing about going (apart from seeing the parents!) was the fudge shop we found! It's the best fudge ever. EVER!

l-r coffee+walnut, chocolate ginger, chocolate orange and maltesers.

I would be a bad person if I didn't tell you that you can get it here. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

(no, not that stephanie)

I love the scarf! I mean, it looks a little bit like it might be trying to eat you, but I love it! I've got a real hankering for a big long fluffy scarf of my own. I started one out of alpaca, but it's giving me the ominous itchies when I knit on it. (NOooooooooOOOOooooo) heh. Great scarf.

MMmm, fudge.

Love the scarf. I have the big wool Rowan book and have been wanting to get around to knitting it. It looks fantastic.

I adore your Big Long Fluffy Scarf! It is so fun and comforting to wear a huge scarf like that... and very practical in the weather that we've been having too (you can also use it as a lap blanket if need be). What stitch pattern did you use?

I like the striped tee that you're wearing a lot too - I'm a fan of the stripe, and those are great colours.

And the fudge... yum!

Wow! That scarf sure could have came in handy this past weekend during the blizzard we had here in Newfoundland haha! And i'm sure the fudge could have too! I mean, when is fudge not good, right?

WOW! That is such a fab scarf. My favorite kind of neck sweater! No chance of your catching a cold with that lovely 'round your neck :-)

[Drools all over the keyboard after looking at the fudge.]
