Poo things and good things
March 29, 2006
This week has been not bad and not good, just pretty bleurgh. I have been in college learning about all sorts of fun accountancy things, for the next set of exams, and today we had a 3 hour progress test and it was POO. However I know no one wants to listen to me whinging, so here are things that have cheered me up:
1. The muffins we made at the weekend - using fresh lemons and 70% dark chocolate:

2. My new sparkly shoes, hurrah!

3. Finishing the first secret book jumper, yay! Onto the second, which is very unportable, so.....
4. Ripping my Giotto top to pieces and starting a scarf with it instead:

It's the same pattern as when I made this scarf with Jeni's lovely silk boucle, but adapted for the much larger gauge Giotto. I like the way it shows up the ribbony texture :)
5. Going out for a lovely veggie curry in about 10 minutes, yum yum yum.

I am so happy to see your shoes! I have two similar pairs, one silver and one bronze. My husband calls them stupid funny looking shoes. NOT TRUE! Cute I say.
How about showing the muffin recipe? Plz?

Accountancy should be banned and all accountants should become muffin chefs in the morning and knitters in the afternoon.
PS I'm taking accountancy finals in June

I'm sorry guys - no recipe here, because it's only very slightly adapted from one in a book, and it would probably be naughty to type it out :) Check out Green and Blacks chocolate book, find the chocolate chilli muffin recipe, put in lemons instead of chilli - tada!
