Fluffy Kitty Bag! And Free Pattern!
April 06, 2006
I have finished the Rio Giotto Scarf, but in the last 2 lunch hours I made something slightly more exciting so I thought I'd share it first!
I ripped (and it was no small effort I tell you, bloody fluff) the Russian Winter hat, and salvaged my 3 balls of Jaeger Fur. I was wondering what to do with it, and suddenly inspiration struck and I was off! I made a little handbag!
And I was also sorting my beads out t'other day, and came across some I had been hoarding for a while, and realised they would go perfectly with the colour of the Fur, so I made bracelets to decorate the bag with. I'm pretty much in love :) It's such a frivolous item, what's not to love?!
So I wrote up the pattern, and it's now here for free, enjoy!
Click on the photo for more pics, and click here for a pdf of the pattern.
Hooray for fluffy girly things :)

I LOVE your stuff! :) I found your site from a link in Mag Knits, and i love what you've done with chunky Rowan yarns. I have the "bigger picture" knit book, and bit by bit i'm going to knit everything in there! I'm starting "HUG" this weekend!!!

The bracelets on the bag are so PERFECT! Such a great idea! ^-^ I really like the pink scarf you made. And those muffins look so yummy!

That's a good use of the fluffy yarn. I really like your latest pattern for Magknits - will give a go sometime.
You look very cheerful for a trainee accountant. I thought it was supposed to be all work and no play. :-)
