Bunny!
May 28, 2006
Thanks so much everyone for your nice comments on the caterpillar - it's blushing! I will reply to comments as soon as I can! The reason I've been absent is because I've been away - first to Snowdonia for a walking weekend, and then away with work all week. Snowdonia was ace! The weather was pretty terrible, but I climbed Snowdon anyway (a hard route as well!) and then we climbed another mountain the next day - exhausting but fun.
Here's the ridge we went along to get to the top (looking from the top):

This was the sunset between mountains:

And the mountain was climbed the second day:

And now for the knitting - I finished the Bunny, and it has been sent to Ireland to Adam's cousin's new baby:
Click to see that photo bigger and one more! The pattern is from Debbie Bliss's book Toy Knits, and was a very good pattern. I'd love to try some more in that book, but I've not really got an excuse.... I'm not sure what I'll be working on mostly next, there's several neglected things I could pick up!

Wow, the photos are awesome! What a great place to visit. I'm glad the bunny can share stories about the trip!

Wow - What a gorgeous view! I just got back from a backpacking trip in Scotland. It was so great to hike up a mountian and see the gorgeous surroundings! (Even if I was sore afterwards!)
Great bunny too - I saw your dinos earlier and defintely have to make one now. And no - no one gets it - I will be keeping it!

I love the bunny! I'm sure that Adam's cousin's new baby will love it.
Your photos are fantastic. It makes me miss England. I visited the Lake District (and then-boyfriend Thomas) when I was in high school. Those photos really remind me of that. *sigh* Where is Snowdonia? I've never heard of it.
