Fluffy Caterpillar

Now, back to the knitting!
I'm using some of the yarn in the stash to make another knitted toy, not more dinosaurs but a fluffy caterpillar this time! I love knitted toys, and like the dinosaurs I've been really enjoying creating another one, I think it's the 3D-ness that I like best! It's still on the needles, I'm going to make it as long as there is enough yarn for:

It's so super fluffy and soft, I think it will be very cuddly when it's finished :)
People at work asked what I was knitting at the moment, and when I said a caterpillar they asked who it was for, OF COURSE it's for me! I wonder if I'm a big kid, people email me a lot sending photos of the dinosaurs they have made (which I love to receive) and they always say it was for their son or a friend or something, I hope some adults are making dinos for themselves too though!
Probably a finished caterpillar next time, I grabbed my bag of stuffing over easter when I was at my parents, so it should be finished and stuffed soon!

I think your knitted toys are ace! I'd make them for myself if my house wasn't already full of Mr Men, Clangers and Bagpuss stuff...

i've now knitted a couple of dinos for my kiddy due soon. Well of course they're for my kiddy, it's just that there's going to be an important quality control process whereby I have to play with them first, and a lot!
I can't wait to see the finished caterpillar and hope there will be a pattern.

Just had to comment that I often knit/sew toys for myself and judging by your photos I'm a good 10 years older than you...! I am sometimes forced to 'share' them with my daughter, although she doesn't think there's anything strange about me having my own toys.
