Not much more Pinkster
June 27, 2006
I can't quite beleive it's been a whole week since I updated, and I'm only doing it now in a rush! I guess it's good to be busy! I have been knitting, but only on the secret green thing. It's all finished except for a small amount of embroidery. I'll show it soonish I expect :)
As for the Pinkster, it is going along smoothly - here is some progress on one of the fronts:

I have finished almost half of the yarn, so I think it's going ok. The sleeves can just be very little! I'll just do a few rows and then go straight into the sleeve cap.
My hand has been a bit more claw like on this piece, it seems a lot easier on larger pieces of crochet. Well, that's it for today, I will attempt to have something more to show in a more timely manner!

I'm waiting with baited breath to see your finished Pinkster as I'm still debating whether to buy this book. It looks good so far! Don't you find that crochet just seems to devour yarn though?

Hi! I love your crochet-ing... did you just get started with the "Happy Hooker", or have you crocheted before? How does it compare to knitting - is it really a lot faster? I flipped through the book in a shop and am tempted to try it myself, since there are a lot of nice wearable patterns. A friend told me she likes crochet compared to knitting because it's not so terrible if you drop a stitch. But you're such a fast and expert knitter anyway!
