Very excited!

I'm back! I never got round to posting a "I'm going today and will be back on the 24th" post, because I was far too busy packing! I also forgot to close the comments, I just deleted about 40 spam comments all about ringtones and various kinds of filth! Thank you loads to everyone who left San Fransisco tips! They were very useful - I wish I'd got to go everywhere people recommended, but I certainly did a fair few things you guys said I should and enjoyed it a lot, so thanks :) I had a super holiday and will post more about it next time.
The other VERY IMPORTANT thing is that the secret projects that made this blog so hard to fill for a while earlier this year can now be revealed! I said they were for a book, and it's now been published. You can see it here! I got the book today when I get back from holiday and am very excited and happy to see my name and patterns in print! It seems more real than internet publications (although they are super exciting to see too). It's a very cool book and of course everyone should go buy it!
I knitted 2 sweaters in Kidsilk Haze for the book, which were 2 variations of a design called Frosty because it's a sheer and sparkly top. I will put together a proper post with big pics when I'm not so totally jet-lagged, but for now here's a wee preview:

Yeah, congratulations! I'll keep my eye out for the book so I can see it for real. Glad to hear you had a good vacation, now go and take some pictures to show us the sweater(s) and of course write up a proper San Fran post for us!
