Hurrrraaaaahhhh! Carolyn!

March 07, 2007

Hooray! My second knitty pattern is published, and it's one of my favourite knits yet - not very fancy, but a nice shape, stripey, and very wearable!

Clickety click on the photo to see more, or of course click here to see the pattern.

I'll leave it at that, thank you so much to Carolyn (you know who!) for the yarn in the first place!

Congrats! I really like the colorful stripeyness of your cardigan. It looks fun to make, I'll have to try it after I finish my current sweater:) Your Hug-shrug was the first non-hat or scarf item I made after I started knitting! Thank you!

It's a great design! I gave Lynette the same yarn and she's going to be knitting your pattern. Isn't that funny?

I've been reading you for awhile, and I just saw your pattern on knitty and had to come over and comment.

I love it, and I love it even more since it goes up to 5X! not many pattersn do that.

You did a great job as usual.

Congratulations, it's gorgeous!

I love that pattern! Nice job there girlie!

I'll admit I was a hair jealous Carolyn got a sweater named after her, but she seems to have provided the yarn, so I can't quibble with your choice of name. Besides, she rocks.

Nice work.

When I first saw the new knitty, I squealed and thought, "I have to knit this!" before even looking at the pattern. I was just so excited to see that it was named after someone with the same name as me!
So far I'm probably about a third or more into the pattern, it's really fun and quick to knit. I can't wait to pick out some fun buttons for it!

But yes, great work! ^_^

First of all, thanks for the pattern - I LOVE it!

Do you know if there's anyone in the UK selling Elann wool? It's so expensive to ship from the States...

Congrats!!
