Cashmere Scarf

OK, another extended break, but I've finally forced myself to write up my cashmere scarf. I need to use this blog or I'm going to get rid of it in May before I have to renew. I haven't really knitted anything for a month which is part of the reason, but it's not like I can't blog about anything I like, it's just I'm not used to it!

I'm currently reading a lot of books in my spare time, but at the weekend my mum bought some Noro Kochoran for me to knit into a cardigan for her. I think the fact it is for someone else will force me to knit!

I hope you get the knitting bug back. I lost mine for about a year then an influx of babies due forced me back to knit. Loving it at the mo!
Trouble is, I can't knit and read at the same time and I've a stack of novel I'm ready to read.

Don't give up the knitting blog. Knit something you wouldn't normally knit - socks, perhaps? - that might get you back in the mood.

I'll miss you if you do take down your blog! I had various knitting sabbaticals. I was madly keen from 83-85 but stopped knitting pretty much altogether from 86 - 88 and then again 90 - 94. I started again when first baby was expected and I had an urge to make baby clothes. Had another 18 month break between 2006-07. I wouldn't be too hasty to get rid of your domain name, even if you do take down your blog, just in case!

Haven't commented in ages....not because I don't read your blog, though! I hope you don't give it up.
Anyhow, my knitting mojo comes and goes...don't worry if you're not into it at the moment, just go with it! You are an awesome designer though, and an interesting writer. Selfishly, I hope you stick with it!
