Yet another cake experiment!

September 28, 2008

It's weird, because I actually have been dong plenty of blog worthy things, but I'm so out of the habit that I haven't actually bothered mentioning any of them!

THe biggest one was the trial wedding dress - however I decided not to show it as people who are coming to the wedding read this blog - I'll give some details and show the real fabric in a later post though.

Amongst other things which I certainly intend to blog about in the near future, we also tried another cake recipe. It is white chocolate and almond (wheat free!) cake, filled with greek yogurt and honey and frosted with green tea cream cheese. We had a couple of goes at getting it right, and then finally decided that although we thought it was delicious, maybe the green tea would be a bit too wacky and not everyone would like it :(

Now I have other ideas, and might try one later today. But for now, here are the cakes!

If anyone wants the recipe let me know - I was about to type it out but realised it would take ages! I am very willing to share if anyone is interested though.

Back soon with invitations, gardening and knitting!

Hey, Jennifer.

I would love to have your recipe. A friend of mine is really into the green tea/matcha powder thing right now and I love alternative flour cakes.

Thanks so much. They're beautiful!

Please do post the recipe - we wheat-free people need all the treats we can get!

Please do something with the recipe! I'm supposed to be wheat free, but have problems finding good moist recipes :( And I've always wanted to try green tea flavoured stuff (apparently it is also really good on cabbage and noodles yum yum yum).

Ta :D
