I have decided my leg-warmers are a little bit too loose, so I'm making them again - luckily they only took a few hours and will be even quicker this time, with less stitches.  I'm a bit annoyed, I have been so busy packing to go away that I've not been on anyone else's site, or finished anything new before I go away!  Rubbish!

I will be taking my secret project with Carolyn away with me, so with any luck I will at least have something to show when I get back.

I'm going to Eastern Europe (unless the weather is crap, in which case I'll probably be in Greece or Italy or something!), with Adam, camping for 5 weeks.

We will be back in the country on the 26th August, so see you then!

Thanks for all the comments on the R2 hoodie!  I have another very small finished item to present today, here are the stripy legwarmers:

I am nearly finished on another project already!  I bought some yarn as an impulse when I went to get some thread and things the other day, and have nearly finished it - I might as well wait until it's done it show it off now!

Also on the go is my secret project with Carolyn.  I showed the yarn and beads for that a little while ago.  I started, and realised that while I like both the beads and the yarn, I don't think they do anything for each other - they are too similar and make each other look dull.  So I will very soon be starting again, with the same yarn and haematite-like beads.

I'm going on holiday in a week, but I promise to show some stuff before I go, I know I'm being rubbish at updating at the moment.

Another long break!  And I've been knitting a lot, so my excuse this time is that I've moved out of my flat and back to my parents for the summer, which has a slooow internet connection, so I haven't felt like being online much.

Anyway, here I am, and here is my finished R2 paper hoodie:

Yesterday I went to London to meet the lovely Kerrie and go shopping for fabric.  We were supposed to explore some shops we'd never been to before, and we did, but both of us ended up getting fabric from the same old shops we always go to.  I haven't got any pictures of it, but sewing is super fast so hopefully I'll have some finished stuff to show soon. 

I am knitting some stripy legwarmers at the moment!  I finished the first one today!  I don't know why, I just suddenly really wanted some legwarmers, they are such crazy things (or not, but I think they're FUN!).
