Adam's Zippy Jumper

This is Adam's zippy jumper for Christmas 2002, although he got it in February (!) The sleeves were more massive than I could ever had imagined and so they took a long time. I think it looks really good, other people have said so too! I think it might be one of the nicest looking things I have made - all the things I make for Adam look great - better than the stuff I make myself! Anyway - the jumper. It was in Rowan magazine 30, the design was called Hike, and I made it from Rowan Magpie Aran in a charcoaly colour, the name of which eludes me. I changed it a bit - the sleeves were meant to be ribbed, as you can see they aren't. Also the collar was meant to be twice as long, but we thought that might strangle him! We are both very pleased with it!
