Gemma
This is Gemma, pattern in Rowan magazine 37, in Calmer and 4-ply cotton. I started it over a year before I finally finished, which is ace, because I thought I'd never finish, ever. The pattern was perfect, and the fit is pretty good too. The only thing I didn't like was sewing up the pieces, because the stitch pattern made it hard to do neatly - maybe if I'd done selvedges it wouldn't have been a problem.... You can see all my posts on this project here. I like the Calmer yarn a lot and I think it's a good turn of seasons sweater. I should probably also say I made it in the same colours as in the magazine (well, there are 2 colourways in the magazine, but the other one is bright pink and purple (very pretty) so I'm sure it won't be hard to spot my colourway!).

I was so excited to finish, I did a little dance, oooh yeah!
