Lollypop

This sweater is knitted in Debbie Bliss Rialto (very nice yarn, lots of lovely colours), I picked colours which made me think of those multicoloured lollies I'm sure I had when I was small, but now no amount of googling will yield a photo - never mind! I wanted to experiment with making a circular yoke sweater, and thought I should try a relatively plain one before throwing all kinds of crazy fairisle into the mix. The fit came out nicely, so I'm going to try some more now, since I really like this type of shaping. After I started I realised stripy wasn't actually so simple, since it obviously generates a million ends, and jogs to deal with every other row. I got round that by weaving in the ends as I went, and if I hadn't done that I'm not sure I would ever have finished the sweater! It got a little crumpled in my bag before I took these photos, so please ignore that!
