This is the design Rosa from Rowan magazine 35. It's made with 4-ply cotton - I made the smallest size and it took 1 more ball than the pattern said it would...and not just a few yards, I mean like half a ball more. But I was lucky and was able to get one in the same dyelot, even though it was months after I bought the yarn that I realised I need it! That's because it's the slowest thing I've ever knitted. There were thousands of beads - about 4000-5000!! Still, it makes it special knowing how much work went into it.
