Swirly Skirt
This skirt was made from a Vogue sewing pattern (7416). It said not to use checked fabric, but I'd seen a similar shaped skirt in a shop made from almost identical fabric to mine and I thought it looked nice so I ignored them! It's made from totally bizarrely shaped pieces, but it all makes sense when you sew it together. It moves really nicely, it fits as the top but kind of swirls at the bottom.
