Raspberry beads necklace

This has got to be the easiest way ever to make a necklace! It uses tigertail thread, which is silvery and strong, and keeps it's shape amazingly well, and crimps, which are little silvery rings. I prefer tigertail to using thread, because it keeps the necklace in a round shape. In the photo below I didn't have to arrange the necklace in a circle, that's the shape it gets from the tigertail. Here's the necklace, instructions follow below!

Cut a length of tigertail, thread on a crimp, a seed bead, and another crimp, and then loop the tigertail, and thread it back through both crimps and the bead:

Arrange the tigertail to get a small loop (it will be used as half of the fastening). Using pliers, squeeze the crimps tightly, and trim the tigertail close to the crimp. Now thread on the desired beads (I used wooden beads, in a colour that makes me think of fruit, hence the name of the necklace!) - here's a close up of the end after threading on the beads:

When the necklace is the desired length, thread on a crimp, seed bead, second crimp, and a fastening. Loop the tigertail back through the crimps and beads, so the fastening is caught in a loop:

Arrange the tigertail and crimps and seed bead in order to get the fastening as close as possible to the beads on the necklace. When it's in place, squeeze the crimps tight with pliers, being careful not to squeeze the seed bead (or it shatters!). Here's the finished fastening:

The reason for using 2 crimps and a bead is that it gives better stability to have 2 crimps, and the bead inbetween makes it prettier!
